if you know Spanish or just the basics, Japanese will be easy . the pronunciation of Japanese vowels is similar to that of Spanish.

My friend takes Japanese and I looked at her book once. I'd probably rip my hair out trying to learn it. At least Spanish and English are somewhat similar. You get all those cognates and such.

sometimes i feel like that about English, but hey im living in US so i have to learn it, is not that i dont like it is just that is hard. i know i little of Japanese and mandarin, very little but i know ^_^

I find it amazing how people learn to speak other languages so well. I dropped Spanish because I don't have the patience to learn all those new words and such. Verbs put me over the edge.

Very little. I took Spanish for two years, so I could ask for stuff and put extremely basic sentences together.
